Jenée LaMarque

Jenée is a Latinx filmmaker who grew up in Claremont, California and graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in English with a creative writing emphasis in poetry. Her feature films, The Pretty One and The Feels have received numerous awards across various film festivals, including Sundance, Tribeca, and the Savannah Film Festival where she won Best Director for The Pretty One. Most recently, Jenée has been directing for television, including Sorry For Your Loss for Facebook Watch, four episodes of Starz' Vida, three episodes of the HBO series Room 104, and an episode of the upcoming reboot of Party of Five for Freeform.
