Nicholas Schrunk is an Emmy award-winning feature film and commercial director focusing on action and adventure storytelling. Utilizing his technical background in both science and design, Schrunk combines a reason-driven process with traditional visual design principles. The result is an awe-inspiring collection of work illustrating stories that are visually and emotionally moving.
Schrunk most recently directed the Emmy award-winning feature documentary, Blood Road, winning best of festival awards at the BANFF, Bentonville, Sun Valley & Kendal Film Festivals & has been praised by reviews from the LA Times, Huffington Post, Access Hollywood, USA Today, Sports Illustrated & ESPN. Schrunk won the Webby award for “Best Online Sports Film” for his skateboard film “Perspective” and premiered the feature “On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter” at the San Sebastian Film Festival. Additionally, he’s directed stories for Audi, Cadillac, Nike, Under Armour, GoPro, Garmin, Oakley, and NBC.
