ake Zalutsky is a film director with a focus on telling real stories. He found his way into filmmaking by way of snowboard films, which he directed and shot several of, and then moved into film production as a cinematographer before beginning his career as a director. His work is raw and honest, founded in the trusting relationships he builds with his subjects. His first short film “Nick Santore” premiered at Chicago International Film Festival and was a Vimeo staff pick.
