Richard OConnor
I create (mostly) drawing based animation.
Our studio is one block from the mouth of the Gowanus Canal in the heartland of America, Brooklyn NY.
We produce a lot of personal narrative, non-fiction and documentary style work including over one hundred films with NPR's StoryCorps, Mitu's "For the Love of the Neighborhood" sponsored by State Farm, and the HBO feature documentary "Adrienne". We have also created animated sequences for NBC's broadcasts of the Indy 500 and Super Bowl LVI in additional to loads of other short form, doc and commercial projects.
Awards/History
I won back-to-back "Best Actor" in the Philadelphia Fire Prevention play competition (1984/85).
