Josh Beebe

Last name is pronounced B-B (like the gun.) Alumni of Grand Valley State University. Went to Space Camp (twice). Shoots 35mm stills with a vintage Minolta SRT-101. Expect to see Josh commuting to work on his bike along the Dequindre Cut - or rolling up to a local dive bar. Josh’s career in filmmaking took off as soon as his 7th grade teacher allowed him to create video projects instead of presenting reports in front of the class. In 2010, he co-founded SEI Studios with his best friend - a creative company that provided clients with photography, video production, web and graphic design.

David Chapdelaine

Farm boy turned punk rocker, David likes to spend his time creating beats on his drum machines and making custom scores using found objects and the familiar voices of his fellow colleagues. David has created musical accompaniments for brands such as Ford, Chevy, Blue Cross, Jeep and Fiat, as well as scores for narrative and documentary projects. When David isn’t making music, he is cultivating his other passion for storytelling through creative editorial by cutting spots, music videos and other visual media.

Joshua Magee

Joshua loves teamwork, a lot. With experience ranging from fighting fires in his hometown to producing fine art for galleries around the world– with the right team, everything is possible. His vocational journey has zig-zagged through many corners of media and management, always driven by a passion for people and a love for storytelling.

Catherine Pink

Catherine’s affinity to blend teamwork, creativity, and leadership started as co-captain of her high school dance team, where her squad worked together to choreograph fiercely competitive routines. From there, she went on to mix visual arts, music, and video production in all types of mediums over the last decade.

Shane Patrick Ford

Shane discovered his love for filmmaking while producing videos for his music compositions in high school. Soon after, he founded and operated a music venue in college, The Factory, which fueled a desire to collaborate with creatives in his community.

In 2010, Shane co-founded The Work, a Detroit-LA based production company, which brought his visual art to a broader and more professional audience. During his time at The Work, Shane was lead editor while building a post team to service their wide scope of productions. This nimble team would go on to win a Shorty and Effie.

Carlos Cuaron

Carlos Cuarón was born in Mexico City and studied English literature at UNAM. He wrote the screenplay for Sólo con tu pareja in 1991 which was directed by his brother, Alfonso and won the Ariel Award for best original screenplay the same year. Along with his brother, he wrote the screenplay for Y tu mamá también (starring Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna and Maribel Verdú) and received the Silver Lion for best original screenplay in the 2001 edition of Venice International Film Festival. They were nominated to the BAFTAawards as well as the Academy Award in the same category.

Hari Sama

Hari Sama is a Mexican musician and filmmaker

He studied filmmaking at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, and music composition at the Musical Studies and Research Center. He is a keyboardist and clarinet player, and one of the lead singers from the experimental dark rock band EURIDICE.

He is a founding partner of the production company Catatonia Films. As an advertising film director, Hari is one of the most acclaimed directors in Mexico.

Marcus Nispel

German-born Marcus Nispel came to America on a Fulbright Scholarship at the age of 20, where he attended Brooklyn College and the NY Institute of Technology. On his return to Germany, Nispel began his career in advertising as an art director for Young & Rubicam in Frankfurt, but he soon found his way back to America, and made his directing debut with a series of music videos for C&C Music Factory.

Simon Brand

Named by Variety Magazine as one of the 40 most influential Latin people in Hollywood, Simon Brand has been directing since he was 17 and hasn’t stopped since. Hundreds of commercial, music videos, short films, and three feature films have made him one of the most sought-after directors today thanks to his bicultural background and his keen talent for strongly-visual storytelling.
