Carlos Cuaron

Carlos Cuarón was born in Mexico City and studied English literature at UNAM. He wrote the screenplay for Sólo con tu pareja in 1991 which was directed by his brother, Alfonso and won the Ariel Award for best original screenplay the same year. Along with his brother, he wrote the screenplay for Y tu mamá también (starring Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna and Maribel Verdú) and received the Silver Lion for best original screenplay in the 2001 edition of Venice International Film Festival. They were nominated to the BAFTAawards as well as the Academy Award in the same category.

Hari Sama

Hari Sama is a Mexican musician and filmmaker

He studied filmmaking at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, and music composition at the Musical Studies and Research Center. He is a keyboardist and clarinet player, and one of the lead singers from the experimental dark rock band EURIDICE.

He is a founding partner of the production company Catatonia Films. As an advertising film director, Hari is one of the most acclaimed directors in Mexico.

Marcus Nispel

German-born Marcus Nispel came to America on a Fulbright Scholarship at the age of 20, where he attended Brooklyn College and the NY Institute of Technology. On his return to Germany, Nispel began his career in advertising as an art director for Young & Rubicam in Frankfurt, but he soon found his way back to America, and made his directing debut with a series of music videos for C&C Music Factory.

Award winning film director. I have a passion for the kind of work I do. My work mostly consists of little pieces of film known as commercials. I have worked with a wide variety of clients and agencies. I have also been working with Mexican celebrity chef Alfredo Oropeza to direct his BBC Entertainment television show, commercials, and video content for social media. I also gained experience in food styling and tabletop on these projects. Born into a family that was a film industry pillar in Mexico City. Both my parents were commercial directors.

Simon Brand
